Initially limited to Khanapara, the game expanded to include players from all over Assam and neighboring states. In 2020 it was decided to digitize the entire result distribution system for wider reach.
Over the years Khanapara Teer has added dual daily rounds and instant result announcement initially available only at physical locations. All that seems basic to us now but was pioneering at that time for Khanapara and other members of that first wave of regulated traditional lottery systems.
Result announcement functionality eventually became standalone websites though is still part of the physical lottery centers. Players can also track historical patterns and analyze those that appear in result tables. These records go into comprehensive databases which have daily results, frequency distributions and seasonal variations.
It is around these supposed patterns that Khanapara Teer segments its betting pools for its main revenue generator: daily draws. With 5 years of data, the game has one of the largest dataset for analyzing randomness in the traditional lottery space.
As Khanapara Teer has grown up, so has its analytical community. What was once a simple guessing game for locals has become more and more a subject for statistical analysis but mainly among those above 25 years old.
